Scheduled Seminars for 2008
Rose Painting Weekend
May 30th and 31st, June 1st -or- November 7th, 8th and 9th.
Learn and master the painting technique for Ros and Alison's beautiful roses, in
this concentrated 3 day workshop. Starting right from the basics and working
through each step to achieve stunning roses and designs with ceramic and even
fabric surfaces. You will also learn techniques of incorporating decoupage into
your designs with amazing results. Have fun finishing off your projects with gold
scrolling, pen work and soft ribbons. A fantastic weekend getaway, with beautifully
completed projects to take home. Even if you have attended this seminar before,
you will love all the new projects and background techniques.
Cottages and Roses
June 27th, 28th and 29th -or- October 10th, 11th and 12th.
For those of you fortunate enough to have a copy of Ros’ first book “Cottages
and Roses” your will be familiar with the gorgeous combination of cottages and
roses with rambling quaint gardens. The simple techniques for painting the cottages
are very effective and complemented by roses, pansies and many pretty cottage
flowers. Have fun with colour and different brush techniques as you create your
masterpiece.
Fabric Painting Weekend
August 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Are you a quilter or sewer but always wanted to paint? Or can you imagine having
a hand painted quilt cover with matching lampshades and pillows? Learn the art
of fabric painting in the weekend seminar totally dedicated to the application of
painting roses and pansies on to fabric. You will love the stunning results and be
surprised how easy it really is. Hand painted luggage anyone?
Bears 'N' Roses
July 4th, 5th and 6th.
If you love Ros and Alison’s Roses then you will thoroughly enjoy this delightful
combination of “Bears ‘N’ Roses”. A must for the nursery theme for new mums,
and a definite for grandmas and aunties. This seminar is suitable for all painting
levels. Take home gorgeous pieces and learn how to create your own patterns to
continue on at home.
Landscapes and Seascapes
May 16th, 17th and 18th -or- September 26th, 27th and 28th.
Open up a whole new area of your creativity by taking home your own framed
landscape and seascape. Ros & Alison have designed typical Australian land and
seascape using simple folk art techniques that give amazing fine are results. In this
weekend seminar you will discover a whole new world of decorative painting and
learn how to create and put together your own designs to paint at home. Men are
most welcome!
